One of the most unusual advertising booklets with illustrations by Wizard of Oz’s W W Denslow: Boy Scouts by John Alexander. Published in 1911 by the Niagara Litho Co, with many charming black and white illustrations by Denslow, as well as color ones by Gordon Grant. Oddly, the back of the book advertises Minute Tapioca, although it really seems to be more of a Boy Scout feel-good book. Hard to find this little beauty in nice condition.
In near very good condition, covers with light wear and original stamped price; interior with a crease to first 3 leaves but otherwise clean and bright, cover loosening from staples but still hanging on. A rare Denslow/scouting cross-collectible.
