Description
Here is Piggy at the Fair and also Piggy Goes to College (on flip side). Oz book author Ruth Plumly Thompson first published these stories in the Philadelphia Ledger newspaper in 1919. Very scarce; these is the first edition in booklet format by Murray (1920). They were later published by Donohue. Features 2 full color covers plus 14 interior pages of gorgeous color illustrations by Charles J Coll.
Condition is good, with bright attractive graphics, but substantial wear to cover and spine edges as shown. A chip at upper corner, two smaller ones on rear cover, along with some scuffing. Inside, the pages are in nice condition, with light soiling. Stapled binding is intact but a little rusty. A difficult book to find, with no other copies currently available online.
