Description
There are two small typed copies of lesser known short stories by L Frank Baum, including Chrome Yellow (19 pages) and The Littlest Giant (11 pages). The Littlest Giant was printed for the first time in The Baum Bugle in 1975, while Chrome Yellow wan’t published until 2013 in a small run by Pumpernickel Pickle. Chrome Yellow is a departure from Baum’s fantasy stories, about two men in the orange groves of California with a surprise ending. The Bugle says of The Littlest Giant that it is “not one of Baum’s best tales, for its humor does not combine successfully with the savagery of the events. But it is imaginative…”
These typed copies are an odd size, about 6.5 x 8.75″ each and are from the estate of Oz Club pioneer David Greene.
