Scarce Wizard of Oz antique collectible that I’ve been looking for for decades; the first I have found! This Scarecrow of Oz Answers Questions by Radio has a metal spinner on front. Inside, there is a movable dial–you set it to the question you want to answer about an Oz book or character, and when you close the cover, the spinner moves to the correct answer! Works perfectly. Patent date of 1924, also advertises Oz books to the Lost King of Oz, which was published in 1924. Now 102 years old. This one advertises J K Gill Booksellers of Portland, while the only images I’ve seen of another advertised a different store. Exceedingly rare.
Complete and in nice condition, though it does have a little creasing along the bottom half. Measures about 5.5×3.5″.
