Here’s a rare early Victor Talking Machine Co 78 record related to “The Tik-Tok Man of Oz” (stage musical created by L Frank Baum) of 1913. The song is “My Wonderful Dream Girl”, by Oliver Morosco and Victor Schertzinger, sung by John Barnes Wells. The flip side (not from Tik-Tok Man) is “Come On Over Here” from The Doll Girl. Includes an early Nipper the dog (famous RCA mascot) on the record center! 10″ diameter. Produced in Nov 1913. Have not played, but disc is intact and looks like it needs a cleaning. Sleeve is a newer replacement. A true antique Oz-related item!
