Here is anice first edition of Phoebe Daring, one of Wizard of Oz author’s Frank Baum’s non-Oz books. Published in 1912 by Reilly & Britton, as a sequel to “The Daring Twins”. With 4 black and white plates by Nuyttens. This book in the “A” binding with the illustrated cover design (Book Collector’s Guide to Baum).
Book is in very good condition overall, with a super clean front cover. Spine and rear cover have just light wear. Inside, the hinges are tight and there is some foxing on back of the inserted plates and the pages opposite them. Light page toning and small notation at top of title page and on rear endpapers in pencil. All four plates present and in quite nice condition; a collectible copy.
