NOTE: Cover photo is coming soon! Here is a first edition of “The Lost King of Oz”, one of the harder to find and thus more desirable vintage Oz titles. Written by Ruth Plumly Thompson, successor to L. Frank Baum. Copyright 1925 by Reilly & Lee, 1st edition, 1st printing according to the Book Collector’s Guide to Baum, as it has 12 beautiful color plates by John R. Neill, with a glossy coating only on the front side. Also with near perfect text on line 4 of Page 193, indicating one of the earlier copies printed.
Book is in near very good condition overall. Some scuffing to cover plate, front hinge cracked but holding, tanning to endpapers, all 12 plates very good.
