Here is an early printing of Glinda of Oz by L. Frank Baum, copyright 1919, but published circa 1926, with advertisement on the back of the half-title page listing titles to Hungry Tiger of Oz. Also with 12 color plates by John R Neill. Published by Reilly and Lee with advertisement for The Oz-Man Tales in the back and with illustrated endpapers.
This copy in good, but not very good condition overall. The cover pastedown has some scuffing, the spine has fraying and a little stain at the bottom, a slight cock to the spine, and rear cover a little dirty. The front and rear hinge are both cracked with the webbing showing, so the binding is loose but holding. Old price and bookseller’s notation to endpapers. All 12 color plates present and generally in nice condition. Pages clean except a prior owners name on Book Belongs To page and page 29 has two large chips in the margin.
