Description
Here are three vintage Wizard of Oz books published by Reilly & Lee and written by Ruth Plumly Thompson. These were issued in the late 1930s through 1950s by Reilly & Lee, and were illustrated by John R. Neill but without color plates. The hardback books include:
Cowardly Lion of Oz: Clean cover, fading to spine and part of rear cover, light edge wear, tight binding, pages clean. Ownership page filled in with pen.
Jack Pumpkinhead of Oz: Good to very good, cover and spine with light wear, binding loose at half-title page, but holding, some staining to bottom of text block and pages. Ownership page filled in with pen.
Lost King of Oz: Good to very good, cover and spine very good, front hinge slightly cracked with possible old glue repair, some finger soiling but generally clean. Ownership page blank.
