Here’s a typed letter to Julie from Dick Martin, a long time Oz Club member, president, auctioneer and “Royal Illustrator of Oz” after John R Neill. He illustrated Merry Go Round in Oz and was creator and illustrator of several other later Oz books. The letter mentioned a sketch which I couldn’t find, so I’ve substituted an extra autograph which says “Ozian Greetings” and is printed on Martin’s clever “OzAutographs” notepaper. The letter is on Martin’s personal letterhead.
Also included is a sheet of vintage Martin notepaper (“A Note from Oz”) with Denslow-stye characters, and the original mailing envelope hardwritten by Martin (postmarked 1971). Guaranteed Oz-thentic!
