Two interesting Russian Wizard of Oz books by Alexander Volkov, who wrote the “Magic Land” series on which Russian children were raised. These are vintage editions of the 3rd and 4th books in the series–Seven Underground Kings and The Fiery God of the Marrans. Vintage Russian hardcover editions published in Murmansk in 1983 and 1984, Murmansk Publishing. With illustrated endpapers and stuffed with charming color illustrations by V Medvedev.
Good condition with some scuffing and staining to covers, tight bindings, pages clean without writing or tears.
