Description
Here is an unusual edition of The Tin Woodman of Oz by L. Frank Baum. Published by Reilly & Lee in 1955, it’s illustrated in B&W by Dale Ulrey instead of the usual John R. Neill. There are also nifty leading chapter initials featuring the Tin Woodman. First printing of this edition (ca 1955-1959) with black and red image on cover. 262 pages.
Book is in very good condition, with just a little creasing at top of spine, age toning to endpapers, and name on front endpaper. Hinges in great shape, text pages are nice and clean save for light age toning. Dust jacket is near very good, light scuffing, a little loss at spine ends, and a small cutout on front flap. See photos. A nice copy overall.
