A rare book title made charming by Royal Illustrator of Oz Dick Martin: The Littlest Star by Sally Jackson. A departure from Martin’s usual Oz related material, published by Reilly & Lee in 1961, the same time and in a similar format as several of his Oz picture books. The story by Sally Jackson is about a little girl who wants to dance ballet with her big sister. Oversized hardcover. Cover is in nice shape except for spot above the title. Interior is fair, with tight binding but pages with some staining, one page with coloring, old book plate and former owner’s name and address on endpapers.
