Description
Here is an early copy of “Rinkitink in Oz”, 10th of the Oz books written by L. Frank Baum. Copyright 1916, this is a Reilly & Lee printing, dating to between 1920-1935, with 12 color plates by John R. Neill. Also black and white decorated endpapers.
This is a good copy overall, with some flaws. Exterior pastedown has a little creasing and a small piece of scotch tape at lower left (last photo), rear cover has some spotting. The spine is nice. Inside, both hinges are cracked with mull showing but still holding; rear endpaper has remnants of a bookplate. Book Belongs To page is blank. 12 color plates are all present and in nice condition, though frontispiece has been neatly re-inserted. Pages have moderate age toning.
