Here is an early copy of The Scarecrow of Oz by L. Frank Baum. With color pastedown and 12 color plates by John R Neill, with captions. Published by Reilly & Lee, circa 1923 (publisher’s advertisement lists to The Cowardly Lion of Oz). 101 years old! Illustrated endpapers. Copyright 1915.
This book is in good only condition, with lower corner missing on the front cover pastedown. The spine has a some sunning and the rear cover has a stain and bumped corner. Inside, both hinges are quite cracked, but holding. Child’s writing on front endpaper and Book Belongs To page. The 12 color plates are all present and in good shape, and the pages are generally clean with some corner bumping.
