Here is a nice copy of a reprint edition of Ruth Plumly Thompson’s original “The Curious Cruise of Captain Santa”. Of course Thompson wrote many Oz books after L. Frank Baum died, and this is one of her lesser known titles. Originally published in 1926 by Reilly & Lee, the International Wizard of Oz Club produced a softcover and hardcover edition in 1985. This is the softcover edition, with a shiny full color cover. Illustrated throughout in black and white by John R. Neill, 127 pages.
This book is in fine condition–no marks or tears, clean and bright, no writing or tear. There is a removable plastic cover which I’m not sure is archival or not. A must have for Thompson fans!
