Here is a 1st edition Wizard of Oz book titled The Gnome King of Oz by Ruth Plumly Thompson, with 12 color plates by John R. Neill. Published by Reilly & Lee in 1927. The book also has Illustrated endpapers by Neill.
This book is in good but not very good condition–exterior has light wear to pastedown and some wear to spine ends. Inside, both hinges are quite loose with mull (webbing) showing, but everything is still attached. Endpapers have age toning and some pencil notations to rear one. Book Belongs To page has a pencil name. Pages are generally clean without writing or tears. All 12 color plates are present and in very good condition. A hard to find Thompson 1st!
