Description
Here is a first edition/first printing of Glinda of Oz by L. Frank Baum, published in about 1920 by Reilly & Lee. As required by The Book Collector’s Guide to L. Frank Baum reference, Glinda of Oz is the last book in the publisher’s advertisement in the front, and the book has 12 color plates by John R. Neill without captions, as well as nice illustrated endpapers. The book is in very good condition overall, with secure binding and hinges, and slight cock (lean) to book. Color pastedown has light wear; spine is clean. Front endpaper has a number and old price in pencil (could be gently erased). Book Belongs To pages is blank. First 20 pages have a slight dent on left; some finger soiling to pages. All 12 plates are present and mostly in very good condition, with light wear.
