Here is an interesting vintage copy of The Yellow Knight of Oz. Copyright 1930 by Ruth Plumly Thompson, this is a later plain cover binding with dust jacket listing titles to The Hidden Valley of Oz, dating the book to about 1951. However, it has all 12 color plates of the earlier versions! The book and plates are in nice condition, but upon close inspection the plates don’t line up perfectly with the text block–perhaps 1/16″ shorter at the bottom, so it appears they may have been added later rather than by the publisher. Still nice if you are a fan and want to see John R Neill’s work in all its glory!

The book exterior is in very good condition, with just some corner bumping. The interior is near very good, with some browning to the endpapers and the front hinge neatly repaired. Pages are very good neatly (erased name to ownership page). The 12 plates are very clean. The color dust jacket is good, with a cut out on the front flap and a chip at top of spine as shown.
