Here is an unusual softcover reproduction of the Wonderful Wizard of Oz book, which includes all the 24 color plates by W W Denslow. Published by Dover in 1960, this includes the unabridged text and all the illustrations, although the color plates are printed on both sides and bound in two blocks near the center rather than each one separately as in the 1st edition. Also with an Intro by Oz scholar Martin Gardner, and a short checklist of books by L Frank Baum in the rear. Nice to have all of Denslow’s iconic artwork, and unusual cover for the Dover edition (cover appears to be re-drawing of Denslow art). Book in very good condition; light wear/fold mark to cover with old price sticker on rear, interior clean with no major flaws.
Please check out the “Oz Illustrators” section in my Ebay store for other unusual Denslow items.
