Description
Here’s the last of the original Oz books, Who’s Who in Oz by Jack Snow. Copyright 1954 by Reilly & Lee, this is a beautiful 1st edition copy with the original dust jacket. This book lists all the characters in prior Oz novels, with a brief blurb about them. Many single color illustrations. Also contains very useful appendices–the first containing synopses of the prior 39 Oz books, and the second, biographical sketches of the various authors. With sepia illustrated endpapers–maps of Oz and the magical countries outside its borders.
The book is in near fine condition, from the estate of a meticulous collector. The book is clean inside and out. Tiny discoloration below the Oz on the cover, barely worth mentioning but I do because this book is so perfect otherwise. Spine and rear cover clean. Inside the hinges are tight and there is light tanning to endpapers that is common with this title. The pages are clean with no writing or tears. The Jacket is price clipped but is otherwise near fine with very very light wear. In an archival protective cover that causes some glare in the photos. Here’s the last of the original Oz books, Who’s Who in Oz by Jack Snow.
