Description
Here is an early edition of The Tin Woodman of Oz book by L Frank Baum, copyright 1918 and published shortly after by Reilly & Lee. This printing circa 1923, with the Cowardly Lion of Oz listed as the last title in the list of books in the front. With 12 color plates with captions, and pictorial endpapers.
Condition is very good overall. Covers are clean with light wear to edges of pastedown, spine is strong with slight age darkening. Inside, both hinges are intact, bookseller’s pencil notations on rear endpaper and Book Belongs To page, which also has been neatly filled in by Marian Longwell of Lakewood. All 12 plates are present and in very good condition.
