Description
Here is an early edition of The Tin Woodman of Oz book by L Frank Baum, illustrated by John R Neill. Copyright 1918 and published slightly later by Reilly & Lee. This printing circa 1925-1930, with 12 beautiful color plates with captions, with pictorial endpapers, and no list of Oz books in the front.
Condition is near very good, with a generally clean cover pastedown except a small white spot in corner, clean spine and rear cover. Inside, the front hinge is tight but the back one is cracked, and all 12 color plates are present and in nice clean condition. There is some soiling to the top of some pages and edge of text block. Book Belongs to page has a pencil name. Overall a nice early copy.
