Here is a vintage copy of Scalawagons of Oz, copyright 1941 and written by John R. Neill, famous Oz illustrator who continued writing the Wizard of Oz book series for a while. Published by Reilly & Lee, this is ca. 1947-1949 printing with 32 page gatherings (Ref: Book Collector’s Guide to L Frank Baum”. With black and white illustrations (book was never printed with color) and black and white illustrated endpapers.
The book is in very good condition. Cover has just light scuffing to pastedown. Spine looks great, as does the rear cover, and corners are sharp. Inside, the hinges are tight, ownership page is blank, and the pages are in great shape; there is no writing or tears, very clean. A very nice copy overalll of one of the harder to find Oz title.
