Here is a very nice copy of a Rinkitink in Oz book by L Frank Baum with the hard-to-find dust jacket illustrated by Dick Martin. In 1960, only ten of the Wizard of Oz books were issued in special dust jackets by Martin, and these were only in production for a few years before being replaced by the “white cover” editions without dust jackets. The unusual and beautiful Rinkitink jacket cover is described in Appendix 2 of Bibliographia Oziana (1988). Rinkitink was written by L. Frank Baum and published by Reilly & Lee, copyright 1916. Jacket lists to Hidden Valley of Oz (1951).
Book is in near very good condition. Front cover, spine, and rear cover are virtually perfect; inside there are bookseller’s markings on front endpapers that have been partially erased, and the corner of the front endpaper is clipped off. Otherwise clean and tight. Dust jacket is very good plus; price clipped and some scuffing, but with beautiful graphics and very little edge wear.
