Here is a wonderful early copy of “Rinkitink in Oz”, 10th of the Oz books written by L. Frank Baum. Copyright 1916, this is a Reilly & Lee printing, dating to between 1920-1935, with 12 color plates by John R. Neill. Also black and white decorated endpapers.
This is a nice copy overall, near very good. Exterior pastedown has light scuffing, spine has some light spotting. Inside, front hinge is tight, rear hinge is cracked but still snug. Cloth at base of rear endpaper has escaped from seam underneath–see photo. 1929 owner’s name and date on the Book Belongs To page. 12 color plates are all present and in nice condition, though there is age toning on back and pages opposite. Other pages have moderate age toning.
