Here is a beautiful early printing of Glinda of Oz by L. Frank Baum. Published in late 1920s according to the Book Collector’s Guide to Baum, with 12 color plates but no advertisement on the back of the half-title page. Published by Reilly and Lee with advertisement for The Oz-Man Tales in the back. With 12 color plates by John R. Neill, without captions. Also with nice illustrated endpapers.
This copy in near fine condition with a clean pastedown and spine. Upper right corner of board lightly bumped. Inside, hinges are intact, bookplate on Book Belongs To page, original bookseller’s seal on rear endpaper. Pages are all very clean and all 12 color plates present and in excellent condition. A very collectible copy of a hard to find early Oz book, from the collection of a meticulous collector.
