Here is an interesting Oziana collectible: a signed limited edition of UFO’s in Oz by Alla Ford, illustrated by Bill Eubank, 1979. Alla was a charter Oz Club member, an Oz collector and a book dealer who also published a few books of her own under the “Ford Press” label. This is the miniature version, just 2 1/8″ x 2 1/2″, #28 of 500 produced, signed by Ford in the back on the limitation statement. Book is softcover, about 40 pages if you count the endpapers, with a paper dust jacket as well.
This is a fun little book, lists all the “Unusual Flying Objects” in the Oz books such as Pigasus, the Balloon Birds, and the Mist Maidens. With a plethora of tiny B&W illustrations by Bill Eubank, who was also a puppeteer and magician.
The book is in near fine condition.
