Here is an early Russian to English translation of The Wizard of Oz, published in 1961, 104 pages with an English to Russian glossary in the back. This little book in paper wraps is just 5″x8″, and was published in Moscow. The publisher and illustrator info is in Russian, so I can’t give you that info, but I haven’t seen this version before. Unusual in that this is L Frank Baum’s version of Oz, not the usual Soviet block Volkov version of Oz. It does have small black and white illustrations throughout and an attractive wraparound cover of Dorothy and friends on the Yellow Brick Road.
In good condition with some wear to spine and cover edges. Interior very good but with a street address on the title page.
