A wonderful collection of original illustrations, jackets, endpapers from the Oz books, including foreign editions. Also scenes from Oz appearances on stage, screen and television, including the 1939 MGM classic, from 1902 up to the book’s publication date. And finally, Oz toys, games, lamps, wallpaper, comic strips, playing cards, figurines, puppets, etc. Heavily illustrated with more than 250 illustrations, 16 full color pages. This is a first edition/first printing (following Random House convention with the print number line “23456789” and the “first edition” statement present), and includes the original dust jacket enclosed in a protective sleeve. Book in very good+ condition, jacket good with some edge wear and tear. Included in this listing is a 1977 Random House flyer, originally distributed with the Baum Bugle. The one-page flyer describes the book and says at the bottom, “The Oz Scrapbook will be published by Random House on September 12, 1977. $10.00. Available at your local bookstore or directly through Random House.”
