Here we offer a set of five vintage white cover Wizard of Oz books published by Reilly & Lee–in nice condition. These books were issued in the early 1960’s, originally as a series of 14. All written by L. Frank Baum and illustrated by John R. Neill, with red illustrated endpapers. The hardback books include:
The Wizard of Oz: Very good, tight binding, great hinges, complete, light wear to exterior, clean pages with light wear.
The Land of Oz (note this one is slightly taller than the other 4): Good to very good, tight binding, great hinges, complete, moderate wear to exterior, ownership name on that page, bookplate on rear endpaper, some soiling to inside turn-downs.
Ozma of Oz: Very good, tight binding, great hinges, complete, light wear to exterior, pencil name on ownership page, otherwise clean pages with light wear.
The Scarecrow of Oz: Very good, tight binding, great hinges, complete, light wear to exterior, clean pages with light wear.
The Magic of Oz: Very good, tight binding, great hinges, complete, light wear to exterior, penned name on ownership page with checkmarks on some books in list opposite, otherwise clean pages with light wear.
