Here is the Royal Book of Oz, an early printing with 12 color plates and a later dust jacket. First published in 1921 by Reilly & Lee, with is a late 1920s printing with the correct spelling on the plate opposite p. 255. The dust jacket lists to Hidden Valley of Oz (1951). First Oz book written by Ruth Plumly Thompson, although Baum was given credit after he died.
This copy in fair to good condition. Cover pastedown has moderate scuffing as shown, and there is a little fraying on the head of spine and about a 1″ tear along the spine crease. Inside, both hinges are cracked with old glue repairs. All 12 plates are present and in generally good condition, but the first 5 have a moisture stain in upper corner, that also affects those early pages. The 1950s dust jacket is good, with a large chip at lower left and an old sticker mark on spine.
