Description
Here is a hard to find piece of Oziana by Rob Roy MacVeigh–an original screenplay for his Rob Roy Productions planned animated film of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. He planned it to be more true to L Frank Baum’s original story than other treatments. The 195 page screenplay is copyright 1986, and signed “Oz Ever”. Dated and marked #16 of an unknown number (not many) by Rob. Sadly, Rob died before the film could be produced. MacVeigh also illustrated various other Oz projects, including The Oziads by Fred Otto.
The piece is 8 1/2″ by 11″ and has some wear at the base including a 2/3″ tear and vertical fold to the cover. There are several old bookseller’s pencil notations on the inscription age (could be erased). The other pages are in good condition.
