This is a super gorgeous copy of The Wishing Horse of Oz, a first edition Wizard of Oz book from Reilly & Lee Wishing Horse is the 29th Oz book, and the last one to be issued with color plates, so very hard to find in the 1st edition (only one printing). Written by Ruth Plumly Thompson, and illustrated by John R. Neill. 12 color plates and 298 pages. This is the nicest copy I have seen–with a clean cover pastedown, solid spine, clean cloth. Inside, the hinges are tight and the endpapers are clean. The book belongs to page is blank, the pages are clean and bright, and all 12 color plates are present and in excellent condition. No writing or tears. A lovely, collectible copy!
