Description
Here is “The Lost Princess of Oz” book, 11th of the Oz books written by L Frank Baum. First published in 1917, this is a vintage Reilly & Lee edition with the color pastedown and black and white illustrations throughout by John R Neill. The dust jacket is present and lists titles to Scalawagons of Oz, dating the book to about 1941.
This book is in very good condition, excellent pastedown, beautiful green cloth and exterior. Solid binding & hinges, but the page with “The End” is missing. The text is still complete. Some corner bumping to pages near the back. Former owner’s 1945 inscription and name on illustrated endpapers, and again on the Book Belongs To page. No other markings, very clean text.
The dust jacket is near very good, large chips at top and bottom of spine, some tearing to edges, still beautiful and clean. A very nice copy overall!
