Description

Here is an early edition of The Lost Princess of Oz, copyright 1917. This Reilly and Lee book by L Frank Baum with uncaptioned color plates by John R. Neill and titles to Glinda of Oz listed on back of ownership page, dating the book to the about 1920. Nice pictorial endpapers.

Condition is good plus–cover plate a little soiled with a star stamp and pencil “3”, spine with “10” written above Reilly & Lee, a couple spots on rear cover. Inside, the front hinge is a little loose but holding, rear hinge is tight, Book Belongs To page is blank but there is a “10” stamp on half title and title page. Finger soiling to some pages, worst shown. 12 color plates are present and very good with light wear, but one has been replaced with a captioned plate from a later edition and laid in.
