Description
Interesting version of Jaglon and the Tiger Fairies with the hard to find buckram library binding. See Bienvenue and Schmidts article in the Winter 2015 Baum Bugle for more information on collecting Oz-related books with library bindings. This is the only one of Baum’s Animal Fairy Tales originally published in the Delineator in 1905 to make it into individual, oversized book format. Published by Reilly and Leee in 1953, many interesting B&W illustrations by Dale Ulrey. The library binding is green with brown and white embellishments.
Condition is good only, with some wear at ends of spine and library code at lower front cover. Inside, many library markings as shown (Richfield elementary school), partial dust jacket flap glued in, a little grimy and dirty as is common with library copies. Binding is tight.
