Here is an unusual Reilly & Lee Jell-O promotional booklet of Jack Pumpkinhead and the Sawhorse. Listed under Baum Addenda in Bibliographia Oziana, which dates it at 1932. Has 8 color John R Neill illustration pages and Jell-O ads and desert recipes. Rear cover shows Scarecrow and Tin-man carrying a giant Jell-O mold. Apparently there was only one printing of this rare book (one of a series of 4). Small softcover book, just 7 1/16 by 5 3/16″. 30 pages, with illustrated endpapers.
Condition is good. The paper cover overlaps the inside page a bit, so the overhang has some small tears. Paper spine is splitting about 2″ at base and 1″ at top. Inside, all pages are still attached to the original staples. Inside cover has a little soiling at base. The inside text and illustration pages are all nice and clean, no marks or tears-near fine! Beautiful color illustrations. Jack Pumpkinhead is one of the hardest titles in the series to find!
