Here is a nice 1st edition of The Giant Horse of Oz book by Ruth Plumly Thompson, published by Reilly & Lee. This is the real-deal 1928 first printing with the misprint “Oniberon” for “Quiberon” on the frontispiece and page 126 and 127 in correct order (referencing The Book Collector’s Guide to L Frank Baum). With decorated Oz end papers.
The exterior is in FINE condition, with a beautiful cover pastedown, perfect spine and rear cover. Honestly, the best I have ever seen. Inside, the front hinge is badly cracked but holding; could be repaired as almost all the material is still there. The Book Belongs to Page has a name and address. The 12 color plates are present and those and the rest of the pages are in excellent condition with no writing or tears noted. A lovely copy overall.
