Description

Here is a 1st edition of The Giant Horse of Oz book by Ruth Plumly Thompson, published by Reilly & Lee. This is the real-deal 1928 first printing with the misprint “Oniberon” for “Quiberon” on the frontispiece and page 126 and 127 in correct order (referencing Bibliographia Oziana). With decorated Oz end papers.

In good plus condition; cover pastedown has a little scuffing and is slightly dirty, rear cover and spine are in nice shape. Inside, both hinges are cracked somewhat messily, but holding. The Book Belongs to Page is blank. The 12 color plates are present and in very good condition overall. Pages in nice shape with light finger soiling.
