Here is a rare piece of original pen and ink art by award-winning illustrator Eric Shanower. It depicts an elegant Gloma, the witch-queen of the Black Forest from Ruth Plumly Thompson’s Wishing Horse of Oz. The small piece on board measures 4 5/8″ x 5″ and is mounted to cardstock that measures 7″x10 1/2″. In very good condition and signed and dated 1985 at lower left. This piece is from the collection of a long time Oz Club member, likely from an early convention when Shanower was still sometimes selling his art.
