Here is The Boy Fortune Hunters in Panama, by L Frank Baum (Wizard of Oz author) writing under a pseudonym, Floyd Akers. Published by Reilly & Britton, copyright 1908. First edition, 5th printing, with titles to South Seas listed, circa 1911 according to the Book Collector’s Guide to Baum. Black and white frontispiece by Heath.
This book is in very good condition overall. Exterior has some age soiling but is quite nice overall; cloth better than most in this series. Inside, there are some booksellers pencil notations on the front endpaper and a couple bookseller’s stamp on the rear. The front hinge is intact and the rear hinge is split, but the binding is still strong. The frontispiece is also in quite good condition, but there is one leaf (p. 223-224) with a tear diagonally across and the outer portion is missing.
