Here is a nice 1st edition copy of The Scalawagons of Oz book, copyright 1941 by John R. Neill, famous Oz illustrator who continued writing the series for a while. Published by Reilly & Lee, this edition has 16 page gatherings and “Scala-wagons” on two lines on the spine. This Oz title was only published with black and white illustrations, and also has illustrated endpapers.

This copy in near very good condition–some scuffing to cover, corners bumped, spine and rear cover look good.  Endpapers are clean; the front hinge is cracked but holding, rear hinge is tight. Book Belongs To page has a pencil inscription, and pages have a few finger marks but are in generally nice condition.
