Here is an nice collection of L. Frank Baum’s short stories, published by the International Wizard of Oz Club. This is the 1st edition from 1969, one of an edition of only 1000 copies, according to the colophon. It looks a lot like the more common 2nd edition (1989), but there are subtle differences. I’ve included photos of both editions just for reference, with the 1st edition on the left, so you can see the differences. Overall, the 1st edition has a brighter cover and more colorful, stiffer endpapers. Also with 1969 on the title page and “First edition” on the copyright page. Nicely illustrated by Charles Livingston Bull. Includes nine individual tales including The Story of Jaglon, The Discontented Gopher, The Forest Oracle, The Pea-Green Poodle, etc. Softcover, 151 pages.
In near fine condition. Cover with light wear, interior perfect!
