“The Story of the Steinways”, about the German piano maker and with a little Luther Burbank thrown in! Written by Elbert Hubbard and published by the Roycrofters in 1911. The musical cover design was created by Raymond Nott. Nott worked as an art director at Roycroft after the departure of Dard Hunter. This item was originally published in The Fra magazine, and this booklet was printed in 1934 (copyright 1921). Decorated wraps, 32 pages, with an Emerson quote on the back.
This title is in generally nice condition, with “10” marked at upper corner, light wear/creasing to fore edge, and a fold and minor staining to rear cover. Pages in good condition with a few pages separated roughly.
