Here is a beautifully illumined copy of Man of Sorrows, a book written by Elbert Hubbard, published in 1906 by the Roycrofters in East Aurora, New York. With silk moire endpapers, an an elaborately watercolored title page, first text page, and colophon . 5 1/2″ by 8 1/2″, 120 numbered pages.
The book is near fine, in remarkably good condition for one of these suede-bound books, with a smooth, unblemished cover, strong spine, clean endpapers and near-perfect pages. About the only tiny flaw is that the end of the silk bookmark is fraying. A super nice copy with stunning illumination.
