Here is a copy of The Robber Kitten, copyright 1904 by Henry Altemus. With 22 red, blue and black illustrations by Wizard of Oz illustrator John R. Neill (credited). One of Altemus’ Wee Books for Wee Folks series, this is the scarce 1st format with the oval illustration on the front cover and orange illustrated endpapers! (see http://henryaltemus.com/wee_books/index.htm.) Small 4 1/4″ by 5 1/2″, 94 pages.
Book is in good condition with the main flaw being a crease in the front cover. Otherwise the cover is quite clean and the spine is nice. Inside, front and rear endpapers are nice except the rear ones are upside down, binding is tight, pages are clean and illustrations are charming.
