Here is a very nice early book illustrated by Wizard of Oz artist John R. Neill. “Evernew Stories for Children, Favorite Fairy Tales of All Ages”, published by Reilly & Britton in 1916. 1st edition and only edition; this is a collection from the “Children’s Red Book Series” of individual titles, including The Three Bears, Robin Hood, Snow White and Rose Red, A Christmas Carol, the Night Before Christmas, and three others. Each illustrated in gorgeous full color and black and white by Neill. 192 numbered pages printed on thick, quality stock. Extremely scarce, no other copies currently online and very few sales recorded over the years.
Book is in very good plus condition overall; light wear to cover plate, straight clean spine, light soiling to rear cover, tight hinges, clean pages, no writing or tears, exceedingly nice!
