Here is an interesting complete set of 16 Russian postcards, with art by Leonid Vladimirsky, who also illustrated books and postcards for the Wizard of Oz “Magic Land” book series by Alexander Volkov. These stunning postcards depict the Russian tale of Three Fat Men, which Wikipedia calls “the first revolutionary fairy tale in Soviet literature”. There is also a gun-toting kick-ass pseudo Dorothy heroine–see photos. This stunning 1963 set include the rare tri-fold cover! These are large cards, about 4″ x 6″ in size. Dated 1963 on cover and cards.
In amazing condition for a 50-year old set, probably due to the cover being included. Cover has light edge wear only and cards are unused and in near fine condition. Each one a little work of art. See also my other listings of Russian postcard sets with sleeves, one with Wizard of Oz art by Vladimirsky. You can also watch the story here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wBCBSCZCsvE
