Here is The Enchanted Castle book in original dust jacket! This is illustrated by John R Neill of Wizard of Oz fame and published by Henry Altemus Co, 1906, one of the six books in the Fairy Tales series. Includes not only the original brown paper decorated dust jacket, but the inner glassine jacket as well. Also with many red and black illustrations and embellishments in the book. Small 5 1/8 x 7 1/8″, edited by Hartwell James.
The condition of the book is near fine, clean and tight, with a beautiful gilt cover and sharp spine. Light age toning. The jacket has some small chips and tears along fold line. Still attractive and the first jacket I’ve seen for this series!
