Here is a beautiful little copy of Aladdin and the Wonderful Lamp, illustrated by Wizard of Oz illustrator John R. Neill, with the hard to find dust jacket! Copyright 1915 by Reilly & Britton, this is a circa 1922 Reilly & Lee edition, with ads listing to Kabumpo in Oz in the back. One of the rare Children’s Red Book series, it includes Aladdin as well as the classic Robin Hood. Contains lavish color endpapers and color illustrations on many of the 58 pages.
The book is in very good condition. Paper covered boards are great, clean and bright. Inside, front staples have sprung from the endpaper which is fairly common, but binding is still tight. Text pages are near fine and the only writing is a 1922 inscription on ownership page. The dust jacket is near very good, still bright and clean but with some edge chipping and small tears as shown. Photos show glare from mylar protective cover.
